About My Clients
My psychotherapeutic approach is based upon the trusting, supportive, and challenging relationships that I build with my clients. I am committed to truly understanding each unique individual as they gain greater emotional awareness, confidence, and self-acceptance. I also understand that these are these are trying times where many feel a sense of anxiety and helplessness. I believe that sustaining the good health of our minds and hearts is vital to ourselves, our loved ones, and our community.
My Background and Approach
My work as a psychologist began in community mental health where I provided individual and group therapy. I also worked with cancer, burn, and chronic pain patients at University of California, San Diego's Moores Cancer Center. Additionally, I have been trained in mindfulness-based practices. I run a weekly women's group which connects self-identifying women to one another in community. I am licensed as a Clinical Psychologist by the California Board of Psychology (License 33962) and Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners (License 4225), and work in private practice in Phoenix, AZ. In addition, I am a part of PsyPact and am licensed to practice in 48 states.
