About My Clients
Emily's clients are deep-feelers, high-achievers, seekers, and cycle-breakers — people who are done settling for "fine" and ready to do the real work of becoming more fully themselves. Most have tried traditional therapy before and found it helpful but incomplete. They're looking for something that goes deeper.
My Background and Approach
Emily Olsen Black is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the founder of Integrate Holistic Psychotherapy, a holistic and somatic therapy practice based in Boulder, Colorado. With nearly a decade of clinical experience and an even longer personal journey as a seeker, yogi, and student of the body, Emily brings a rare depth to her work — one that is equally rooted in rigorous clinical training and lived, embodied wisdom. Emily is one of a small number of clinicians in Boulder who brings genuine fluency in the territory of spiritual awakening to her therapeutic and facilitation work. Her aim is to provide therapy that complements the path. Emily specializes in somatic therapy, trauma healing, attachment work, and psychedelic integration, offering a therapeutic space that is warm, relational, and deeply attuned. Her approach is anything but one-size-fits-all. Sessions are collaborative and individualized, co-created with each client to honor their unique history, system and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Emily is an LGBTQ+ allied practitioner, committed to ongoing queer allyship and anti-racist work. She strives to hold space for the full impact that oppressive societal systems — on the basis of race, gender, sexuality, and ability — have on each person's mental health, sense of self, and access to healing. You are welcome here exactly as you are.
