About My Clients
I meet people when they are feeling confused, hurt, angry, and/or overwhelmed by life’s complications. I love my work because I get to be a source of support, patience, and encouragement for people in these moments. I believe that building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship is at the foundation of achieving clinical success. Whether you are an adult or teen (ages 16+) seeking counseling services for concerns related to trauma, depression, and/or anxiety.
My Background and Approach
For over a decade, I have worked with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, including but not limited to urban American Indian/Alaska Natives and LGBTQ+ individuals. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) approaches in an individual and family counseling setting with my clients. I consider my clinical approach to be empathic and personable, while also being pragmatic. My hope is that everyone I work with feels valued, heard, and ultimately empowered to live their life with purpose and happiness.
