My Background and Approach
My goal is to empower you to feel brave enough to do the hard work of understanding and making sense of your pain and your past. I am direct and warm in my approach, and I offer a therapeutic relationship that looks at the holistic picture of you- not a diagnosis. I specialize in working with individuals and couples with fertility challenges, infant loss, miscarriage and postpartum adjustments.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each individual has the opportunity to change and grow. I believe that mental health is developed due to unacknowledged traumas that occur in our lives. Over the course of my life I have seen generational curses broken by brave people who wanted more in their lives. Through my own personal therapy I have experienced the gift of breaking patterns and unhealthy belief systems in order to give myself the peace and acknowledgment that I craved. I don’t discriminate against anyone and accept all for who they authentically feel called to be. I make it a point to participate in social justice movements for disenfranchised communities. When we opened The Couch Therapy we built our practice with the concept of emotional safety for all.
