About My Clients
I work with children, teens and young adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties and life transitions. Areas of focus can include developing healthy coping skills, building positive self-esteem, strengthening communication and processing traumatic experiences. I find deep value in cultivating compassion and understanding in my work and I strive to help each client feel empowered as they explore their experiences and move toward meaningful growth.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with individuals and families across a variety of settings, including home visits, school counseling and with families experiencing homelessness. This diverse background enables me to connect authentically with people from all walks of life through a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and a strengths-based perspective to help clients recognize and build upon their unique skills, strengths and accomplishments. I believe meaningful change happens within the context of a trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients feel supported, seen and capable of creating positive change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves compassion, understanding and acceptance. My goal is to be a safe, trustworthy presence for my clients, helping them recognize the strengths and abilities they already carry within themselves. I’ve seen how having even one person to confide in can make a meaningful difference - and I’m honored to be that support for the individuals I work with.
