I believe that you are the expert of your story, and I am here to listen and guide you through your journey. It is important to me that our work together is a collaborative approach, therefore my therapy style is highly collaborative and conversational. My goal as a therapist is to promote wellness and empower clients for success. Helping you develop healthy habits that can turn into daily practices to achieve better mental and physical health outcomes.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about working with individuals who need support and want to learn new techniques and skills for becoming unstuck. I often hear clients talk about a feeling of losing themselves, not knowing who they are, or going through a difficult time. I like to look at your values & strengths, and help you develop goals centered around them, so you no longer feel stagnant. I like to help my clients overcome their depression and anxiety by use of evidence-based practices. I understand that we all go through times of hardship and turbulation, and we can all benefit from an extra source of support. We can work as a team to best see you through those struggles, process the emotions you experience, and enrich your future. I share real world ideas as well as out of the box suggestions to help you attend to self while enriching your future. Whether it be a big move, a parenting struggle, a tough relationship decision, or how to handle the stress of the “day to day”, I am here for it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the driver of your journey and I am there to assist you. I believe we're constantly evolving and who we are today won't be we are next year. I believe anyone can change when given the opportunities needed for growth. I believe growth is necessary for change, and in order to complete goals some change is necessary.
