About My Clients

Are you or your child struggling a bit right now? Whether you are living with anxiety, managing ADHD, or autism, you're not alone. As a trauma-informed, strengths-based therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals, children, and their families. My clients are bright, sensitive, and often overwhelmed by a world that doesn't always understand them.

My Background and Approach

As therapist, I have the honor of working with individuals, children, and families navigating challenges such as autism, anxiety, and ADHD. My approach is grounded in two core principles: being strengths-based and trauma-informed. Rather than focusing on what a person "can’t" do, I look for what they can already do well. Everyone has unique strengths, and these become the foundation for our work together. Whether it's a person's creativity, curiosity, or sense of humor, we use these qualities to build confidence, develop coping skills, and foster emotional growth. Being trauma-informed means I recognize how past experiences can shape behavior. I meet each person with empathy, patience, and a deep respect for their individuality. Together we create a safe and supportive space where healing, learning, and connection can flourish. In every session, my goal is to help people feel seen, heard, and empowered to be themselves. When people feel safe and understood, they thrive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a trauma-informed, strengths-based therapist with additional training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis. I work primarily with neurodivergent individuals, children, and families, and those experiencing anxiety. Using developmentally appropriate, relational approaches I honor each person's unique way of being in the world. I believe in creating safe, affirming spaces where people can explore their thoughts, feelings, and identities without judgment. My practice is guided by respect for autonomy, compassion, and the deep belief that healing and growth emerge through authentic connection.
