I welcome all humans, whether you are seeking a hand to hold you through difficult times, or a co-conspirator in actualizing the superpowers you have contained deep within. I work with a diverse population of folx of all sizes, shapes, and lifestyles seeking support with depression, stuck-ness, and feelings of otherness. Come as you are.
My Background and Approach
I work within a flexible framework unique to each client’s personality and needs. Most of our work involves exploration in the form of conversation. However, I find that a "Bottom Up" approach (body centered/nervous system regulation) is an incredibly valuable practice for sustainable and holistic growth. My role is part guide and part affirming, non-judgmental witness. My goal is help you understand the source of your feelings, and equip you with the tools to participate fully in the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own experience with depression and anxiety led me to this work and I'm grateful for the path that brought me here. Therapy has been a space for me to experience building an affirming and nonjudgmental relationship in which I can practice being myself. It's challenging, but the reward has been a growing ability to live my life with awareness and acceptance without depression and anxiety hijacking my contact with this weird and beautiful world.
