About My Clients
I work with Individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, past trauma, communication issues as well as toxic and/or abusive relationship patterns. If you are someone who has struggled to get out of a pattern you know is not healthy, or feel unsatisfied with life. Maybe you are a couple trying to communicate well and it just isn't working. My goal is to help you discover yourself in new ways and bring awareness to changes that need to be made.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I have over 7 years of experience working with individuals and couples. Think of me as your self awareness guru, family role interpreter and boundary builder. Together lets identify the role you play or played in your family that is still being played out in other relationships today. Is your anxiety high and you are unsure of why? Do you consistently have the same fights with your partner? I am here to help you discover what you already know about yourself and give you the courage to make those changes you have been wanting to make. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and client centered approaches when working with individuals. I am trained in the Gottman method as well and use this when working with couples.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that whatever is broken in relationships needs to be repaired in relationships, whether that is with past relationships or future ones.
