About My Clients
My number one priority in every session is showing up with authenticity and zero judgement. We cannot always control the thoughts and feelings that pop into our minds, but we can make choices that lead to building the healthy life we want to live, and that is what I hope to help my clients do.
My Background and Approach
Over the last six years as a licensed therapist, I've had the opportunity to support people from every walk of life using different treatment modalities. The approach that has been the most natural for me has been Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which aims to help people accept their thoughts and feelings without judgement, and commit to values-based actions. With this modality, and a few CBT and Narrative therapy techniques sprinkled in, I have been able to help several people through various life challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, grief, and rediscovering and reconnecting with their authentic selves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I prioritize a nonjudgmental and honest approach from both client and therapist to allow acceptance, exploration, and growth for a client's authentic self as well as what they want to see change in their life.
