My Background and Approach
Over my eight years of practice, I have worked in both intensive-in home services (MST) and long-term residential treatment. My practice has primarily focused on children, adolescents, and their families. I specialize in attachment, neuro-developmental trauma, struggles stemming from adoption, trauma, disruptive/unsafe behaviors, anxiety, depression, and rebuilding connection in relationships. I utilize Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Relational Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, art and play therapy during sessions, depending on the need. When in session, I strive to create a safe, comforting environment, and building a strong relationship with my clients. I have been told several times by former colleagues and clients that I am sweet and sassy, challenging clients in a supportive manner when needed in order to help them reach their desired goals.
