About My Clients

I conduct teletherapy with clients in Massachusetts. I work with individuals and couples who are adults, ages 18-59. I specialize in LGBTQIA, non-monogamous, and kink identified clients seeking treatment for relationships, sex therapy, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My personal familiarity with the communities I currently serve allows me to offer a genuine understanding where those with minority identities and alternative lifestyles so often struggle.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with certifications in Gottman Method Couples Therapy training levels 1 & 2, sexual trauma, BDSM & kink, and polyamorous & non-monogamous relationships. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and eclectic. I draw from whatever tools I feel will best suit each client's needs. Among these are sex therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, CBT, DBT, trauma informed, narrative, holistic, existential, mindfulness, and expressive therapy. I work largely with LGBTQIA, non-monogamous, and kink identified clients. This includes experience with the vast majority of sexual and gender orientations as well as multiple forms of consensual non-monogamy and kink orientations. I create a safe space in which to explore and learn. I guide my clients toward a greater sense of self-understanding and empowerment as well as aiding them in identifying and achieving their goals through a collaborative therapeutic process.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Life presents to us a consistent ebb and flow of challenges. As we navigate these, we are each guided by our sense of identity, our past experiences, and the patterns we have learned. Often, however, these solutions do not serve us in the present and take the form of habits of mind and action which hold us back, shape our relationships, and create the illusion of false limitations. There is hope for change, however. We are able to shape our lives through changing our patterns, the way we think and communicate, and the actions we learn to take; but first we must first dig deep and excavate our emotions to better understand ourselves and connect the pieces. We may then update our narrative and with it transform our realities. Whether our demons come in the form of external situations, trauma, self-concept, or existential struggles, no future is set in stone and we can build the life we need one moment at a time.
