Welcome! My primary focus is assisting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and communication concerns. I also prioritize supporting college students, people managing new or chronic health conditions, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I utilize various techniques and styles to better tailor treatment to your individual needs.
My Background and Approach
Starting therapy can feel like a nerve-wracking process. To ease this, I prioritize developing a genuine connection so that you can feel seen, heard, and valued in session. I believe that therapy is not a "one size fits all" practice. We all have different personalities, different histories, and different needs. During my time working in Community Mental Health settings, I worked with a variety of mental health diagnoses and gained experience supporting individuals experiencing a variety of illnesses.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am additionally passionate about working with the HIV/AIDS community. Throughout my career I have been a member of various infectious disease care teams at community health centers, and am currently a member of a state advisory board for the Office of HIV/AIDS.
