About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood, or relationship stress. You may find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, or unsure how to communicate what you need. You’re ready to understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful changes. I’ll support you in building confidence, emotional clarity, and more secure, fulfilling relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York with experience working with teens and adults in both school-based and private practice settings. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, particularly for clients who feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, or difficulty expressing their needs. I use a blend of IFS-informed therapy, CBT, and mindfulness to help you better understand yourself while also building tools that create real change. My goal is for you to not only gain insight, but to feel more confident, grounded, and capable in your daily life. My background working closely with adolescents also allows me to meet clients with warmth, flexibility, and an understanding of how challenging—and important—these stages of life can be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer therapist, I’m deeply committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space where clients feel safe to show up as their full selves. I value authenticity, curiosity, and meeting people exactly where they are. My work is rooted in empowerment and a belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported—especially in spaces where they may not have always felt that way. I’m passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults, particularly as they navigate identity, relationships, and the pressures of growing up in today’s world. I also care deeply about relationship dynamics, boundaries, and helping clients build more secure, fulfilling connections. Above all, I strive to create a space that feels human, warm, and real—where growth can happen without judgment.
