About My Clients
If “just think positive” ever made you want to throw your phone, hi. On the outside, you look like you have it all figured out. Inside it’s chaos: the what-ifs, the pressure to be better, the replaying of every mistake, an inner critic that never clocks out. A lot of my clients are driven, thoughtful people, many of them neurodivergent or LGBTQ+, who are burned out, quietly ashamed of not being enough, and have already tried therapy. Therapy in person in Las Vegas and online across Nevada.
My Background and Approach
I’m an LCSW who uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT) to get underneath anxiety and perfectionism instead of just managing them. In practice, that means: * ACT helps you stop wrestling with your thoughts and start acting on what matters to you. * IFS helps you work with the parts of you that carry old pain, including the inner critic that grew out of it. * RO-DBT helps when perfectionism and self-control have gotten so rigid they’re costing you connection and ease. If you’ve done therapy before and gotten insight but not much change, this is the deeper work. I’ve dealt with my own anxiety and trauma, which is part of why I skip the stiff, hide-behind-the-clipboard version of therapy. The first 15-minute consult is free, so you can do a vibe check.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m not a cookie-cutter therapist. I’ll be myself with you, which means real emotions and probably some swearing, and I want you to feel free to be fully yourself too. I think the relationship does a lot of the work in therapy, so I treat it as a collaboration. I’m warm, I won’t judge you, and I won’t stay quiet if something important needs attention. This is an LGBTQ+ affirming space, and I work with a lot of neurodivergent adults.
