About My Clients
People are scared. They are in pain. They've lost a job. They've gotten a diagnosis. They've lost a loved one. Their partner is hurting them. They feel lost or powerless to improve. They're concerned about their kids. It can feel like it's just too much. Clients are adults and groups who may present anything from depression and anxiety to domestic violence issues, PTSD, body dysmorphia, adjustment disorders, addiction, bi-polar issues, or grief.
My Background and Approach
My only concern is you. My non-judging and calm presence are referred to as unconditional positive regard, where I provide a safe environment to unpack issues in a manner that brings about true change. I strive to help each person become as genuine as possible. Progress can be made towards becoming more authentic by identifying obstacles blocking your goals. Seeking counseling is a sign of strength and not a sign of weakness. Give yourself credit for making it this far. I can start helping you through the mental and emotional obstacles with which you've been wrestling. While life can sometimes be too much, now you have a safe, confidential place you can visit and figure stuff out.
