About My Clients

You may be the person everyone depends on, yet find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from your own needs. I work with adults, particularly women, mothers, and professionals, navigating anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Whether you're struggling with self-worth, setting boundaries, or finding yourself again, therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with who you are beyond your responsibilities.

My Background and Approach

I'm a New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with a master's degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute. My experience includes supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and art therapy. I believe therapy should be tailored to you. Some sessions may focus on conversation, while others may incorporate creative expression to explore emotions that are difficult to put into words. No artistic experience is necessary. I provide virtual individual therapy for adults throughout New York in English and Spanish. Together, we'll work toward greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and meaningful chang

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing begins when we feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. As a bilingual therapist with a deep appreciation for culture, identity, and creativity, I recognize how our upbringing, relationships, and lived experiences shape the way we see ourselves and navigate the world. I'm passionate about helping individuals, particularly women, move beyond societal expectations, perfectionism, and the pressure to constantly have everything together. I value authenticity, compassion, personal growth, and creating spaces where people can show up exactly as they are. I believe that seeking support is an act of courage and that meaningful change happens when we give ourselves permission to grow at our own pace. Outside of my clinical work, I value family, creativity, lifelong learning, and finding balance between caring for others and nurturing ourselves.
