My Background and Approach
In my past work with women and families in crisis and young adults in the criminal justice system, I helped individuals break down barriers to success and identify their path forward. In therapy, I will work collaboratively with you to identify your strengths and goals. We will clarify what is getting in your way and will take active steps to chart where you want to go. I believe that everyone deserves someone in their corner cheering them on and nudging them forward when needed. I believe that every person has potential to define and reach their goals. I believe in respectful curiosity and asking questions about others to understand their life and where they come from. I am committed to creating a space that is safe for every person who walks through my door regardless of race, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ability, and any other identities or life circumstances.
