About My Clients
I work especially well with women who are used to being the one who keeps everything okay. You might overthink interactions, worry someone is upset with you, struggle to know what you want, or feel responsible for other people’s emotions. Together, we can get curious about where these patterns came from & help you build more self-trust, make room for your own needs, navigate relationships more authentically & make choices based on what matters to you, not just what feels safest.
My Background and Approach
I’m a relational, trauma-informed therapist who believes therapy works best when you don’t have to perform therapy “correctly.” Our work is collaborative, curious & very human. We’ll explore the patterns that keep showing up, where they may have come from, what they’ve helped you survive or protect, & whether they’re still serving you now. I specialize in people-pleasing, anxiety, attachment wounds, relational trauma & religious trauma. I also integrate EMDR when it may be helpful for processing experiences, memories, beliefs or emotional responses that continue to feel stuck. I bring both professional training & lived experience to this work, particularly around religious trauma & faith transitions. I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served a mission, attended BYU & later left the church. I understand how deeply relationships, identity, belonging & self-trust can become intertwined with these experiences. I provide online therapy in TX, AZ, AK, UT & WA.
