About My Clients
Queer-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming therapy. I aim to make therapy feel approachable, meaningful, and safe. I’ll meet you where you are with care and without judgment, helping you feel supported and empowered to move toward the life you want.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in social work values and guided by a strong commitment to equity, advocacy, and social justice. Before entering the mental health world, I spent over a decade supporting children and teens in school settings - from teaching middle school to helping lead a non-profit college and career access program. Walking alongside young people as they navigated big emotions, discovered their strengths, and grew into their authentic selves has shaped the way I show up as a therapist: with curiosity, gentleness, and a strong belief in everyone’s capacity to grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand the importance (and difficulties) of gaining a deeper understanding of who you are, so that you can fully and authentically accept and love yourself. It would be an honor to join you on your journey towards self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. Outside of therapy, I recharge by spending time with my sweet animals, crafting or making art, reading or writing, enjoying the outdoors, and connecting with people who make me feel seen. I love learning, and I’m almost always reading or listening to something mental-health–related, exploring new perspectives, and doing my own reflective work right alongside you.
