About My Clients

With the diverse group of therapists in my practice, we are able to provide support for children, teens, adults, seniors, people identifying as LGBTQIA+, veterans, immigrants, and more. Each therapist has her own areas of expertise. I specialize in helping people dealing with grief and loss or major life transitions. At these times there are so many strong emotions that can feel challenging to put into words, so we use creativity to express before words are necessary. No experience needed!

My Background and Approach

The contemplative approach focuses on where you are now and your individual challenges. With help from your therapist you can develop tools to help you in your day-to-day life as well as looking at changing patterns to support long-lasting benefits. Water and Stone is committed to offering our Contemplative Creative Arts Therapy in inclusive, accessible ways that focus on both awareness and active support relating to the diverse challenges and needs of the community and world. Not only do we aim to prioritize mental health and wellness for all, through the promotion of creativity, we actively strive to empower our clients to use their voice in the world, reach their full potential, and access their unique strengths.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Water and Stone will use creativity and contemplative practices in psychotherapy to change the way the world views, relates to, and engages with mental health; normalizing it, so it is accessible to all and treated as a fundamental service people expect to access throughout their entire lives. By bringing together a diverse group of people I can more actively engage with and offer support to the greater NYC community. Connecting with like minded, yet different therapists from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs allowed for others to be empowered and clients to find someone who could help them in ways that I could not do alone.

I have experience with the following
  • Buddhism
  • Christianity
