About My Clients

With the diverse group of therapists in my practice, we are able to provide support for children, teens, adults, seniors, people identifying as LGBTQIA+, veterans, immigrants, and more. Each therapist has her own areas of expertise. I specialize in helping people dealing with grief and loss or major life transitions. At these times there are so many strong emotions that can feel challenging to put into words, so we use creativity to express before words are necessary. No experience needed!

My Background and Approach

Clients come to me and Water & Stone to find a therapist that meets their needs without having to scour the entire city and multiple practices in the process. With a good fit between therapist and client, the shift in feeling grounded, more balanced, heard, and supported happens as soon as the first session. The contemplative approach focuses on where you are now as a human and the challenges you are dealing with, so you can develop tools to support your day to day life from the start while also looking at changing patterns and creating long lasting benefits in your life. Therapy creates a space for you and your therapist to work together in finding the path that leads to living your best life, building confidence in who you are as an individual, and offering a new way to be a part of the larger community that feels authentic, open, and connected.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

By bringing together a diverse group of people I can more actively engage with and offer support to the greater NYC community. While I would love to support each person myself, I realized years ago that connecting with like minded, yet different people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs allowed for others to be empowered and clients to find therapists who could help them in ways that I could not do alone. I believe that since I am in a position to create a space or system that can empower others I should use that to better the community, especially those in the world who are marginalized or under-served. I hope that I and my company can offer services that benefit a great many people as well as advocate for others in ways that move society to a healthier place.
