About My Clients
The clients I serve tend to be curious, thoughtful, and capable adults who want more out of life. Maybe trauma, anxiety, depression, or personality disorders get in the way of living fully. Together we navigate the symptoms and examine their causes and develop strategies for overcoming them. As a veteran, I enjoy working with veterans and first responders and have some understanding of the challenges they face.
My Background and Approach
I got my undergraduate degree in psychology from Harvard in 2016 and went on to attain my doctorate in clinical psychology from Antioch University New England in 2026. I am a yoga instructor and am certified in psychedelic preparation and integration work as well. I opened Emerald Grove Psychotherapy in 2026. I incorporate themes of existentialism, psychodynamic theory, and relational psychology into my work and take a human-centered approach to resolving symptoms and reaching a better quality of life. My lived experience of wanting more out of life gives me a unique approach to helping those I work with connect with a higher purpose, and together we build a roadmap to helping them live life more fully.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I volunteer with veteran adventure therapy programs and find that nature can be especially healing for individuals with trauma. We will incorporate nature and somatic exercises into our work. Veteran mental health and suicide prevention is a passion of mine. I have worked with many trans veterans and LGBTQ veterans as they navigate the compounding trauma of military service with their unique identities. I spent many years volunteering on suicide prevention hotlines before making a career out of psychotherapy.
