I work best with adults, teens, and parents who are curious about themselves and open to deeper exploration. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, postpartum transitions, sexual trauma, or identity questions. Others just know something feels off and want to understand why.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 13 years of experience working with adults, teens, and children. My training is rooted in psychodynamic and relational therapy, which means I help clients explore how early experiences and unconscious patterns may still be shaping their present. I’ve completed advanced training at The Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley and certificate programs at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. I specialize in working with clients navigating anxiety, postpartum transitions, sexual trauma, identity exploration, and childhood trauma. My goal is to create a thoughtful, supportive space where you feel safe enough to explore what’s difficult and start making meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a space for healing, self-understanding, and reclaiming parts of ourselves that have been shaped by trauma, relationships, and the systems we live in. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on postpartum mental health and sexual trauma recovery. I welcome clients exploring identity, gender, and sexuality, and I recognize how oppression, systemic racism, sexism, homophobia, and capitalism can impact emotional well-being. I believe that mental health is political—that we don’t heal in a vacuum—and that therapy can be a place of resistance, repair, and growth. Outside of my practice, I’m a parent, a life-long learner, and someone who supports reproductive justice, trans rights, and access to care for all. I value honesty, softness, and solidarity.
