About My Clients
Our clients are often thoughtful, self-aware individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life transitions. Many identify as LGBTQIA+ and are seeking a space where they can show up fully without needing to explain or defend their identity. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself or others—while still managing to function on the outside. Our clients are ready for something deeper: insight, healing, and meaningful change, at a pace that feels supportive.
My Background and Approach
Our approach is rooted in affirming, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care, with a strong emphasis on creating a space where identity is honored and understood. As a practice founded by LGBTQIA+ clinicians, our work is shaped by lived experience, clinical training, and a deep commitment to inclusive, high-quality care. We draw from modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, DBT-informed skills, and other integrative approaches to support both insight and practical change. Therapy with us is collaborative, intentional, and tailored to each client’s goals. We also thoughtfully pair each client with a therapist who is the right fit for their needs, preferences, and identities—because we believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful, lasting growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Our personal beliefs center on the idea that healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. We believe your identity is not something to be fixed, but honored and supported. Everyone deserves access to affirming, high-quality care that respects their lived experience. We value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion in the therapeutic process. We believe growth comes from both insight and action, and that therapy should be a collaborative space where you feel empowered, not judged. Most importantly, we believe meaningful change is possible—with the right support, at the right pace, and in a relationship built on trust.
