About My Clients
Adolescence and young adulthood are periods marked by incredible potential and possibility. Working with adolescents and young adults as they create and assert their identities is a privilege. As a therapist working with this population, I strive to create a safe environment for clients to navigate this intense stage while challenging them to grow. I work primarily with clients facing issues pertaining to gender and sexual identity, identity formation, trauma, body image, and eating disorders.
My Background and Approach
I received my master's degree in social work from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Trauma theory and somatic theory are the guiding principles behind my practice; I believe it is important to understand how our past experiences influence our present reactions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I practice through an anti-oppression framework that seeks to be trans and queer affirming, anti-racist, and espouse the principles of Health at Every Size.
