About My Clients
I work with transitional-aged youth, young adults, and BIPOC navigating identity, cultural expectations, and life transitions. As a second-generation AAPI woman, I understand feeling “in between” worlds. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and stress, offering collaborative, strengths-based, and culturally responsive care to help you reconnect with your values and live more authentically.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, cultural and identity-related concerns, life transitions, and stress management. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, trauma-focused and culturally responsive. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about helping you reconnect with your best self and clarify your values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Starting therapy can feel intimidating — I’ve been there! I believe therapy should be a space where everyone feels safe, affirmed, and truly seen. My work is grounded in social justice and the belief that mental health care is for all — regardless of race, gender identity, sexuality, culture, or background. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences in therapy and the realization that I didn’t always see providers who reflected my lived experience. That sparked a deep commitment to providing culturally responsive, affirming care and to holding space for clients whose identities and stories deserve respect and understanding. I strive to practice in ways that are anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in dignity. At the core of my work is a simple belief: you deserve a space where you can show up fully as yourself.
