As a skilled and empathetic psychotherapist, my desire is to help individuals overcome anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, family and marital/relationship discord. I take an eclectic, holistic and culturally responsive approach with my clients to provide the best treatment outcomes.
My Background and Approach
I also have advanced training in treating postpartum mood disorders. I am a Prepare-Enrich premarital counselor to help couples prepare for marriage. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment. I am looking to work with individuals and couples who struggle with communication, loss of intimacy, infidelity and poor conflict resolution. I also help individuals overcome infidelity and find the peace that they deserve. If you feel you have lost your way, don’t hesitate to call.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an advocate for reproductive rights, the BIPOC community and postpartum help for black women. Statistics are staggering around black women being 3 to 4 times more likely to die during and after childbirth.
