About My Clients
My favorite folks to work with are people recovering from painful relationship patterns, or trying to make sense of life with a newly discovered Autism and/or ADHD. I am uniquely skilled at liberating people from the grip of shame, and compassionately supporting people that may not feel like they fit into a box. I especially love working with artists, activists, and those who live on all kinds of spectrums - gender, sexuality, romantic, relational, and neurodivergence.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, warm, and affirming. I love helping people remember who they are through mindfulness, playfulness, and humor. No matter how distressed you might feel inside right now, we can help you find your way back to your unique brilliance, courageousness, aliveness, creativity and authenticity. We can heal from chronic emotional distress by settling overactive nerves through self- and body-awareness practices, and releasing memories and emotions that are still playing out old stories.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
For years, I’ve been hungrily researching everything I can find from the schools of psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, spirituality, culture, language, stories, and personal experience to understand these Stardust Meat Suits we call people. I am constantly amazed by human beings. My relational style and focus on your inner voice can also help to heal the psychic wounds of gaslighting and other forms of emotional abuse. This includes cultural gaslighting that people of oppressed groups experience on a daily basis. Part of my personal work includes dismantling internalized systems of white supremacy, sexism, heterosexism, and transphobia.
