About My Clients
I provide gender-affirming care and specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community. As a member of this community, I feel it is important to be visible while in my role of providing competent care. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is key to having a successful experience in therapy. I also work with folks experiencing anxiety, depression, identify formation struggles, and trauma including survivors of conversion therapy or similar experience.”
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Vermont with 5 years of clinical experience. I enjoy supporting folks from all backgrounds and lived experiences including all genders, abilities, sexualities and races. I work from a strengths-based, person-centered perspective. I love helping my clients recognize their full potential and assisting them with putting it into practice to live a more full life. I have a background in studying sociology and gender, connecting our cultural and societal experiences. I have attended numerous trainings on best practice supporting transgender, non-binary, and LGBQ+ individuals and am also a member of the community myself. I also have training in trauma and received a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Child and Adolescent Trauma while pursuing my MSW.
