These transformative years formed the building blocks of my approach. I believe all our experiences are filtered by our senses of who we are and how we relate to ourselves. Ask yourself: How harsh or gentle is the voice you use to talk to yourself? How different would the world be if that voice that follows you all around were more compassionate and understanding?
Yet, the truth is that my sense of who I am is also bound up with others' perceptions: I learn how to love myself from being loved. I learn gentleness from being addressed gently. And I grow and heal when I hear words that understand and water me. Not some cheap, made-up words, but words born from genuine, heart-to-heart engagement. That's why I am here. I am eager to listen in order to discover resources already present in your life, to witness the obstacles and challenges you've overcome, and to tell you that your feelings and longings make sense. Together, we can discover new ways of experiencing yourself.
