Adults who've gotten caught up in the demands of building a career, or a family, or even a life who find themselves disconnected from their place, their purpose, and themselves. You know something needs to change, you just don't know what. I can help transform feelings of loneliness, disconnection, and doubt into confidence, belonging, and peace.
My Background and Approach
I have a background in individual identity work. I earned a master's degree in art therapy from the Pratt Institute and held a career in art before becoming a professional counselor. I've worked mainly with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and feelings of aimlessness. I believe my job is to help you identify your feelings more clearly, learn how to cope with the difficult ones, and make decisions about your life that feel in alignment with your true self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe a curious life is one worth living. I grew up around the world - literally - and find that we're much more similar than we are different. I believe we can cage ourselves with expectations, ideas, and beliefs that imprison us. I believe mental health issues are just maladaptive coping to stress and that healthy people are lifelong learners.
