About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, or major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with people who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck and want to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I strive to provide an affirming and judgment-free space.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and strength-based approaches. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we can explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical coping skills, and work toward greater confidence, self-understanding, and emotional well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people deserve to feel accepted, understood, and respected for who they are. I value authenticity, compassion, and creating a therapeutic relationship where clients can be themselves without fear of judgment. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family and animals, playing tennis, traveling, and going to concerts and music festivals. I bring that same curiosity and openness into my work with clients.
