About My Clients

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with/navigating depression, anxiety, identity development (e.g., bicultural identity, racial identity, gender identity, generation status, etc.), life transitions, grief/loss, interpersonal functioning, and intergenerational trauma.

My Background and Approach

My ultimate goal is to help foster positive change in the different areas of your life. To do this, I incorporate evidence-based treatments and work collaboratively with you throughout the therapy process while being mindful and respectful of your unique set of values, history, culture, and context to best serve your needs and goals. Generally, I do my best to address your distress and functioning through an integrative approach that incorporates aspects of interpersonal therapy (IPT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) while being encapsulated by systems theory. This approach provides me with a framework for understanding your multifaceted concerns and encouraging positive change and growth.
