My focus is to improve physical and mental health wellness by utilizing evidence-based research in the treatment of health conditions. My patients span across various age groups, encompassing adolescents, adults, and seniors.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Doctorate in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University, which I earned in August 2017. Before that, I successfully completed a Master's in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner at Drexel University in August 2007. Additionally, I obtained my Bachelor's in Nursing from St. Catherine University in August 2003. I am a nurse practitioner that has a passion for improving the health and wellness of individuals in my community by offering affordable, high-quality healthcare. Aside from mental health I also offer non-mental health consultations including weight loss, low libido, fatigue, medication refills-non controlled substances, insomnia, depression, anxiety, men's health, STD, hair loss, UTI, Upper respiratory infection, Asthma management, diabetes management and coaching, overactive bladder, bacterial vaginosis, vaginal yeast infection treatment, contraceptive refill management, GERD, migraine headache, lab work, travel medications, pregnancy lab and STI testing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My treatment philosophy is caring for and treating patients in various health settings. I am nationally certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) in family health. My additional studies include managing obesity, chronic care, mental health, and acute care. I am an active member of several professional memberships and associations that reflect my commitment to the field of healthcare. These include my certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, I am a proud member of the Minnesota Nurses Association and the New Jersey Nurses Association. I am also affiliated with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the P.A. Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and the American College of Chest Physicians, all of which provide me with opportunities for continuous learning, collaboration, and contributing to the advancement of healthcare.
