About My Clients
My clients are caring, capable people who often look like they “have it together” on the outside, while quietly carrying a lot on the inside. They’re navigating stress, transition, old wounds, or patterns they’re ready to outgrow. Many are tired of feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and they’re craving a space where they don’t have to hold everything alone.
My Background and Approach
As a New York–based therapist and first-generation Chinese American, I bring warmth, curiosity, and a grounded presence to our work together. My approach is person-centered and culturally responsive, guided by compassion and respect for your unique story. I support adults and teens navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, identity, and life transitions, including college students balancing academics and connection. I aim to create space where you feel understood, challenged, and empowered to grow. I draw from my experience and evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, IFS, and psychodynamic therapy, to create sessions that are responsive to your unique needs. Together, we’ll explore what feels most supportive, whether that means building resilience, gaining insight, developing new ways to reflect, or practicing greater self-compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Taking the step to seek therapy can be scary, but you don’t have to navigate challenges alone. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. Together, we'll move at your pace and create space for reflection, growth, and self-compassion while gaining confidence to navigate life's challenges! I look forward to hearing from you.
