About My Clients
Do you often find yourself stuck in a mindset that doesn't seem to be working for you - one that's critical, repetitive, and overwhelming? Perhaps you feel exhausted from poor focus, issues with trusting, distressing emotions, or a lack of meaning in life. Together we can determine new skills needed to help you feel joyful and prepared in managing the vast array of life's challenges.
My Background and Approach
I help my clients find confidence, peace, and joy by guiding them in developing awareness of how their body reacts to stress and equipping them with the tools they need to take care of themselves when experiencing stressful situations. Many of today’s solutions for anxiety, low-self-esteem, and healing from past trauma or stressful life events are focused on changing your thought-patterns and overall perspective. This leads so many to feel incomplete in their journey toward wellness. This feeling of incompleteness comes when we place our focus solely on the healing of the mind, when the body and soul need support as well. That's why I approach therapy from an integrative perspective using multiple modalities such as Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness training, self-compassion, and spiritual integration (as requested). Together we can explore what will be most supportive in overcoming your current challenges and building your overall wellbeing.
