My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe my path to becoming a mental health provider was both personal and professional. I’ve always been curious about people—their stories, struggles, and what helps them heal. Early on, I noticed how many people carry silent burdens, and I wanted to be someone who could walk alongside them through that. I studied psychology in undergrad, then went on to get my master’s degree in counseling . During that time, I had internships where I worked with individuals facing everything from anxiety and depression to trauma and grief. Those experiences really shaped my approach—learning to meet people where they are, not where I think they “should” be.
