About My Clients

Feeling stuck or struggling to navigate life's ups and downs? I'm here to help you take that first step and offer tools to make life feel more manageable. Together, we can work through challenges and create a path forward. I work with pre-teens, teens, and adults on issues like body image, sexual trauma, childhood trauma, grief, and life transitions. I especially love working with those with eating disorders and attachment issues.

My Background and Approach

As a clinician, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. I am direct and am big on keeping it real with you. I love helping my clients reach their goals and often give homework or provide a space within session to be interactive through worksheets, breath work, or role playing. I am prepared to help guide you in whatever direction best fits your needs. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you identify patterns, set realistic goals, and work toward positive change. If you're looking for a therapist who is both empathetic and action-oriented, and who can provide practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges, I may be a great fit for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and I'll argue you DOWN that the food there is better than in Georgia :). My time in the South shaped me in many ways, including experiencing racism firsthand, which led me to develop a strong belief in equality and a deep intolerance for hate in any form. I also grew up with a narcissistic parent and had no one to talk to about it, which fueled my interest in psychology during my undergrad years. Understanding how to heal and move beyond pain eventually led me to become a therapist—so I could be the person others can trust when they have no one else to turn to, or feel too vulnerable to open up to. I’m passionate about creating a space where people can speak freely and begin their own healing journey.
