My Background and Approach
In my work I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy (Rogerian Therapy), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Psychodynamic approach. I believe in using evidenced based approaches that are tailored to the client’s needs. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, and bereavement. Experiencing loss, trauma, or stress and feeling overwhelmed is not uncommon.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in having a sincere interest in the welfare of others and how essential it is to being an effective therapist. My volunteer work in hospitals have stregethhnged my belief in the therapeutic process in order to facilitate meaningful change.
