About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when faced with challenges like anxiety, depression, substance use, or difficult life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I believe that healing happens through connection, and I strive to meet every client with compassion, authenticity, and respect. I bring a blend of professional expertise and lived experience that allows me to truly understand.
My Background and Approach
Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I’m a therapist with an MSW, licensed as an LLMSW in Michigan and an RCSWI in Florida. I’m also a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) and Certified Interventionist. I combine professional training with lived experience to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and supported. I work with individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and expressive arts to support healing and growth. I understand how complex the recovery journey can feel, and I tailor my approach to meet each person where they are. My goal is to help you build stability, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with a sense of purpose, balance, and hope.
