About My Clients

Are you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? Are you looking for therapeutic support that goes beyond traditional talk therapy and honors the connection between your mind, body, and nervous system? Many of my clients are children, adolescents, adults, and postpartum women navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and major life transitions.

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist who integrates movement-based therapy and EMDR to support healing that includes both the mind and the body. I work with clients who often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or “stuck” — even when they’re insightful and high functioning. Dance/Movement Therapy can help you access emotions, patterns, and needs that don’t always show up through words alone. EMDR can help reprocess distressing experiences and shift the beliefs and body responses that keep you feeling trapped in anxiety, shame, or survival mode. Together, these approaches support deeper regulation, self-trust, and lasting change. You don’t need to be a dancer to benefit. We’ll use movement in a way that feels safe and natural — sometimes that means big movement, and sometimes it looks like breath, posture, grounding, and small shifts in sensation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a millennial therapist, I’m warm, direct (in a kind way), and collaborative. I’ll bring structure when it’s helpful and flexibility when you need room to breathe. Therapy with me is not about “performing” wellness — it’s about building real tools, making sense of your experience, and feeling more like yourself again. I’m trauma-informed and nervous-system oriented, which means we prioritize safety, pacing, and regulation before doing deeper processing. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, genuine, and judgment-free.
