My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor with more than 10 years of experience in working from adults and elderly. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Supportive Counseling, and Crisis Management. Together we can create a plan to help you reach your goals. I want to give you tools and techniques that you can carry with you to find relief. We can work together to manage your stress, to feel less anxious, to manage the depression, to free yourself from painful memories, to cope with your grief, and to make those difficult life changes. I have attended trainings that teach evidence based treatment modalities to help treat your mind and body.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change, that all of us need help at one point in our lives, and that it takes courage to take the first step in seeking help. I provide a safe and confidential environment where you can openly communicate your innermost concerns without judgment. We will work at your own pace and give you the tools needed to handle stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, cope with changes in your life.
