About My Clients

I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem, family dynamics, and communication struggles. I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as clients exploring how their past experiences shape their relationships today. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) intern with a Child and Adolescent Family Therapy specialization, and I'm passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges in a way that feels supportive and practical. My training in relational and systemic therapy helps me look beyond the immediate concern to understand how relationships, family dynamics, and past experiences may be shaping what you're experiencing today. I draw from Collaborative Language Systems Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy approaches, allowing us to tailor therapy to your needs rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all approach. I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families, while also supporting adults and couples through relationship concerns, life transitions, communication struggles, and personal growth. As an intern, I receive ongoing supervision, giving you the benefit of thoughtful clinical support while we work together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a first-generation American, I understand that culture, family, identity, and personal experiences can all shape the way we understand ourselves and our relationships. I believe therapy should be a space where you can bring every part of yourself without judgement or pressure to fit into someone else's expectations. I value cultural humility and recognize that I will never be the expert on your lived experience. I strive to remain open, learn from each client, and honor the identities, traditions, and values that are important to you. I am also committed to creating an affirming and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ clients and families. Above all, I believe you deserve to feel safe, respected, heard, and understood.
