It's really hard to be a woman! We feel like all the pressure is on us and we keep trying so hard to do it perfectly, but life still isn’t going the way we planned. We have the pressure of career, children, keeping our romantic relationship going, finding time for a social life, and then we notice the past we’ve been running from creeps up. It can be exhausting, not to mention overwhelming.
My Background and Approach
And what about being a new mom? It’s different than we expected. It’s definitely not like our friends' pictures on Facebook/Instagram. No one seems to understand how we’re feeling, not even our partner. We're sleep deprived, everyone is telling us about how to “mom” the right way, and we just feel bad. We may even have thoughts that are really scaring us.
