About My Clients
My clients are women and teen girls who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the pressures of caring for everyone else. Many are navigating pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, or the transition to motherhood, and want a safe space to reconnect with themselves, set boundaries, and find relief.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative and personalized. I work from a person-centered, trauma-informed, and multicultural lens, drawing from Existential Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor therapy to your needs while honoring the bigger picture of your life—your culture, identity, relationships, and the systems you’re part of. I aim to create an inclusive, affirming space where you can show up as you are. Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating life transitions, and together we work toward healing, clarity, and a stronger sense of self. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from DePaul University. My background includes work in community mental health and healthcare, including a decade supporting patients through major procedures, gender-affirming care, and life transitions.
