Mood disorders, such as bipolar I or II, are often misdiagnosed. Unfortunately, patients may go years with a mood disorder left untreated, which can lead to comorbid issues, such as substance abuse. Our goal is to identify and treat the mood disorder as soon as possible.

Many of our patients have a hard time identifying depression. Depression does not always present as "sadness". Sometimes its "anger or anxiety". Our goal is to effectively diagnose depression and start treatment right away. Research indicates that early treatment leads to greater results.

Anxiety can be debilitating for many of our clients. It can present as "panic or generalized anxiety". There can be underlying irritability, fatigue, sleeplessness. Many of the treatments for anxiety can be ineffective or dangerous. We specialize in anxiety disorders and finding the safest and most efficacious treatment four our patients.
