About My Clients

I work with adults, couples, and families who are feeling stuck in painful patterns, relationship stress, trauma, anxiety, or ongoing family conflict. Some clients are navigating life transitions, parenting challenges, communication breakdowns, or the lasting impact of earlier experiences. Together, we work to understand what is driving these struggles, build practical tools for relief, and create healthier, more sustainable ways of relating.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy for adults, couples, and families in New York, Massachusetts, and Maine. My background includes work in high-acuity child, family, and community mental health settings, which informs my ability to help clients navigate complex relationships, trauma, conflict, and life stress with steadiness and care. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and practical. I draw from EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, DBT-informed skills, and family systems models depending on your needs and goals. Some clients want tools for immediate relief; others want to understand long-standing patterns at a deeper level. Many want both. Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtful. Together, we work to reduce distress, improve communication, strengthen coping skills, and create more sustainable ways of relating to yourself and others.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My practice is grounded in respect for each person’s dignity, autonomy, and lived experience. I value curiosity, honesty, and the belief that meaningful change is possible at many stages of life. I strive to offer care that is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and attentive to the ways identity, family, and social systems can shape emotional wellbeing. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative and tailored to the individual rather than one-size-fits-all. My role is not to judge or dictate, but to help clients better understand themselves, access their strengths, and move toward the life and relationships they want.
