About My Clients

I work with neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and autism, who are seeking a therapist who understands that their struggles are not a result of being “broken” or needing to be fixed. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, burnout, masking, perfectionism, relationships, and major life changes. Together, we focus on self-understanding, practical strategies, and creating a life that fits who you are.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kansas with a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and additional training as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). My background in both counseling and behavior analysis has shaped my understanding of the connection between our experiences, environments, emotions, and behaviors. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” people, but about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, identifying what supports your well-being, and building practical strategies that fit your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s lived experience. My goal is to create a space where clients feel accepted, empowered, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person deserves to be understood, respected, and accepted for who they are. I view differences in how we think, communicate, learn, and experience the world as part of the natural diversity of being human; it’s not something that needs to be erased or corrected. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in genuine curiosity. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, explore what is getting in the way of the life you want, and develop tools that support your goals. I strive to create an affirming space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment, including neurodivergence, identity, relationships, life transitions, and personal growth. I believe meaningful change comes from self-understanding, self-compassion, and building a life that honors who you truly are.
