About My Clients

Clients often come in initially because they feel "stuck"- frustrated, anxious, or unhappy in some way. I enjoy working with clients as they begin to understand where they have come from, become aligned with who they are, and move into the future with knowledge and skills to get "unstuck" and create a life they feel at home in. We all need support to grow and walk through challenging times, and it's an honor and privilege to be an ally and partner with my clients as we do this work together.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (Lic # LH 61182155), providing counseling and psychotherapy services to individual clients since 2018. I have also worked as a counselor for six years with high school students in Seattle. I continue to expand my education and therapeutic approach, completing the Certificate Program in Clinical Theory and Practice through Wellspring Family Services (2018) and continue to invest in a variety of therapeutic trainings focused on CBT, trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness, and neuroscience. My approach is client-centered, working as your ally with the privilege of witnessing you change, grow, live into your goals, and become ever more yourself. I use an integrative approach, that is strengths-based, focused on skills-building, restorative experience, emotional awareness, and somatic practices to help regulate the nervous system as you expand and heal your ability to connect to yourself, others, and the world around you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we are meant for connection- Connection to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. For some clients, their growth may be focused on becoming themselves more authentically, doing the work of getting to know who they are at their core, building relationship with themselves. Others may have a need for developing relationships with others (family, friends, community members, etc.) and developing the skills needed to have healthy connections. Some clients find themselves with a desire to engage with and impact the world around them, bringing who they are to connect outwardly with purpose, goals, and hopes. Wherever you are at this time, we can work together to create more meaningful and fulfilling connection with yourself, others, and the world around you.
