About My Clients
Finding someone you connect with can be difficult, so I try to be upfront about my style and approach. I am very laid back but also straightforward with my clients, and I don’t use a one-size-fits-all strategy. If you are looking for a therapist who uses worksheets, gives lots of homework, or sticks to a standardized treatment plan (no offense to these therapists), I’m probably not for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that most psychological issues are directly related to the quality of our personal relationships. The inability to securely connect with the people in our lives can have a direct impact on our happiness and sense of well-being. Given this, I often utilize Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), which is considered the gold standard in couple’s therapy. EFT will help you learn how to communicate your wants and needs more effectively to your partner, which can result in less conflict, a better sex life, and a stronger emotional connection.
